Your post should appeal and speak directly to one or more of these audiences.

Your article can be on any of these topics: Web hosting, server administration, website speed optimization, server technologies, email and domain hosting, data centers, web security, hardware, cloud technologies etc.

Post Requirements

• Provide hands on actionable advice
• Be a tutorial, case study, comparison based
• Backed up with real world data/example/reliable data sources
• Include appropriate images to guide readers. We require one featured image and one small image or one featured image and one video. Screenshots or infographics are highly welcome. We are willing to pay more if there are high-quality, relevant infographics, images, and screenshots.
  When searching for free images, check out Pixabay, Flickr, Morguefile and Google Images (under Google image search click on “search tools” then “usage rights” and “labeled for reuse”).

• Only original content is allowed (this means it should not be published before, even on your own blog)

Content & Writing Format

Tone of voice should be casual like your talking to a friend.

No pretentious business tones.

No fluff – if you can say the same thing in a shorter sentence – do it!

No more than 2-3 sentences per paragraph.

We publish content that’s useful and/or inspiring. Ideally both.

There is no minimum word count.

We particularly love "How-to" posts, Ultimate guides, and case studies but you are free to submit any idea about a post and we will review it.

Format your content in this structure

1. Open with a ‘What You Will Learn’ section with 3-5 bullet points
2. Move into main content
3. End the post with a ‘Conclusion’ section

All writing needs to be your 100% original work and free of any copyrighted or plagiarized materials (must pass copyscape and plagiarism checker services).

In your Top5Hosting author account you need to present your short 2-4 sentence bio. Along with your public photo or link to your Gravatar account.

Minimum 1 post per month. If you only plan to contribute once a month then your post has to be a quality one containing at least 1,200 words.

We will own all rights to the delivered work. You may not copy, distribute or re-use it in any way upon delivery.
